Sketch Online is just like playing any ordinary game of Pictionary. Getting into a game is pretty easy! You don't need to sign up with an email or password, just pick a username and a server of your liking and play. Playing a quick game in between breaks or at lunch is very nice. One player is given a word and draws it and every else must guess what is being drawn. One flaw I have found so far is that some people "cheat" as in writing the name out so they can get more points. The developers should implement an "anti-cheat" system to prevent this. One idea is to add a voting system where people can vote a person out of the game if he is cheating. Other than that, the drawing mechanics are very nice. There are buttons for different brushes and colors which is great for adding color but most of the time, people are just trying to beat the clock and sketch, not create an art piece!

The other half of this game is guessing. The health person drawing can give hints which lessens the value of the word points wise. There is also a countdown, once people start getting the word, there is significantly less time to guess the word. So make sure your comfy using typing on the keyboard as it helps! There are two lists below the drawing part of the screen. You can switch between them by touching the tabs. One lists the chat history and the other lists the players and their scores. Also people can "like" others drawings by touching the thumbs up icon in the text input bar.

There is also a social element of this game. You can traveling and add friends and chat with everybody in the lobby. Customization is rather poor at this time. Right now you can only choose a picture for your profile but I could see more details implemented in the future.
Performance of the game is rather good. I haven't had any lagging or slowdowns while playing on my HTC Hero. As long as you have a good WiFi connection, you are good to go. If you really want more performance, make sure you have all your background tasks killed. Rooting and installing a custom ROM without HTC Sense helps a bunch too but I won't get into that now.
